This new title looks like it going to be awesome. Check out the graphics in the HD trailers!

The screen shots look fantastic. I fear however that's running on a £3k+ PC and that a lower spec PC or next gen console wont look nearly as impressive.

Always a concern dobbo.

I did read a very interesting article about the nexg gen consoles though, and how it will take a good year for developers to start exploiting their real power. Apparently most current games have relied on the sheer brute triangle pushing power of the GPU's but with the XBOX360 and PS3 having massively powerful parallel CPU's the new physics and lighting engines need to be re-written to harness this. The launch titles for the 360 are just ports of existing engines, whereas Alan Wake and the likes of Halo 3 are new from the ground up. Sounds plausible?

Mmm, shiny shiny shiny. Can't wait to get a projector and run my PC through it.

Very plausible, I agree entirely.
