Anyone else bought this? I got it for only £25 in Tesco on Saturday. It's quite good fun even if it's a bit max-powery. You do get to drive stuff like M3s and Golf GTIs in the beginning and then stuff like Gallardos and SLRs later on.

I've just bought the 'Black Edition'. Extra fiver but its got a SL65, 911GT2 and a dvd of behind the scenes. Few others cars and tracks too. Probably pointless extras but it pissed off Graham.J when I rang him so its a fiver well spent.

I pre-ordered the regular edition ages ago. Isn't in the same league as GT4, but it's not supposed to be I don't think. For an entertainment game it is good fun...bring on the CGT.

Downloaded the demo.

Ugh, this game is pants.

Force feedback is pretty crap. Turn in is dull, then sudden, then you take lock off, and it straightens up again. Even with a proper controller it reacts like an anolog controller with input lag and correction.

Graphics nice.

Artwork AMAZING as per usual. Sounds nice too. Tracks amazing too.

Just ruined by stupid game modes, silly physics. Still not a scratch for playing vs good old NFS4, which oddly enough felt much more in the real world and not NOS/cop slow down time/motion blur/Rice land that NFS MW is.

Still waiting for a true successor to the NFS4/5 games

I'm really getting into this game. It hasn't got the dynamics and realism of say GT4 but its a really fun game to play. The car choice is great. I've just traded in my pink Evo7 (I was bored...) and now in a black CaymanS with massive spoiler and flames!

I liked the underground games where there's more scope for customising your cars, but I'm really getting into this. I've managed to get myself a DB9 now, in silver with none of the bolt on crap. It's rather good fun baiting the cops and then clearing off. Reminds me of NFS3 and 4 where I used to spend ages outrunning the police.

Have to say that the steering is dodgy. I'm using my ps/2 controller and the steering does waver and won't hold in a straight line. Is there some feature where you can get your tracking sorted out?

Steering with the external view was awful, switched to 'bumper-cam' view, and the game become playable. Arcadey, but fun...

Tis the setup for console steering.

It's like ramped up the longer you steer, as if your pressing an on/off button on a console controller. Ie, every second it's held down, it steers some more and more until it reaches max lock or you let go, after which it turns slowly back.

This is totally stupid. With my PC wheel I was turning in too much at first as the lock wasn't going on, then after holding the lock on for several seconds it was over-steering, so I had to then reduce the lock.

I ended up surge steering, turning too much then immidiately turning back to half what I'd put on, which seemed to work ok.

Either way, NFS4 just worked spot on out of the box with a PC wheel and seperate throttle and brake axes. This bag of crap, JUST like NFS HP2, doesn't even see my controller's axis properly, can only use combined axes, and steers like a console pad, not a wheel.

How long can they carry on making such tripe! I'm glad there was a demo and didn't impulse buy it on the hype reviews.

I haven't played it for a few days but I think I've beaten the first 5 or 6 Blacklist members.

I love the way they use the police into the game. Getting into huge chases is so much fun.

I've got it on the PSP... Seems alright, but not a patch on Toac racer. Enjoyable, but a bit frigginannoying when y the cops can catch yopu no matter what speed you are doing! I want what they are driving!

im down to challanging number 2 i think, and have quite a few cars

got a very nice multi coloured flip paint supra, but it oversteers loads

have a blue coxster
a red gallardo which is AMAZING
evo8
rx8
punto (my first car in the game)
dodge viper
mustang

i only really use the gallardo though, but switch to the evo8 for chases as its rather good.

oh and if you want a good place to get bounty/cops with lots of control on your part, get over to campus circle, in the north of the city

i have been round there many times, lots of hidy spaces in the middle, and loads of cops always chase you, but you carry on going round in circles so it doesnt matter!

Three left to beat. Murcielago and Ford GT available now.

Got myself the Lambo and it sounds great - still not as quick as my Supra though.

it might be that i've only just got the game but what the fecks happened to the modding?

how come there are only like 4 or 5 bodykits per car? where are the neons? where are the

rear and headlight mods?

and most of all where are the fecking Nissans, no Skylines or 350z's (yet they were featured

in NFSU)?
