I doubt it, there's never been cheats as such for the Gran Turismo games.

There are shortcuts to getting credits, but no cheats.

Get your National A licence and then head over to the Capri Rally (Easy) in "Special Conditions". It's a tarmac rally, so road tyres are fine, and completing the two races gives you a Toyota rally raid car with 400-odd bhp that can be used in a number of other races. Crucially, though, you can repeat this again and again and keep getting the car. You can sell each one for 260k-odd credits a car, making money very fast.

As above, repeat the special conditions and sell the prize.

This thread on GT Planet has plenty of other ways of making cash fast. The German Touring car series is a particularly good earner IIRC.

If you win the DTM you get the AMG CLK GTR which you can sell for about 750k IIRC, plus prize money. It's an enjoyable series too so is no problem to do a few times, or you can get Mr B-Spec to do it for you if you have a decent car (I use the CLK Touring car with full N/A tuning).

The rally race is best when starting off though as it's quicker, and easier to do on a budget.
