Just saw these about 2 mins after you posted this topic on rscnet..

Unfortunately didn't try and download until now, and he's removed the flippin link..
Someone has supposedly not given permission to use their work...

Not sure if it's because they are set up for Le Mans but I found the Ferrari 512's (except the winged 512M version) to be very odd handling, turn in and it immediately snaps out of control...very odd..

Although I have only tried all the cars for one lap on two circuits so far (Spa 67 & Mantorp) to see what they are all like in GTR.

I found that with most of them - the 917 being the exception. Reducing steering lock helped a bit, but I think some setup tweaking is in order - I've only done a few laps myself, but will have a play around during the week (Mantorp practice before then!)

I always change every car I use to 13 or 13.5 steering lock anyway, didn't help the Ferrari Must tweak it bit more I think.

Yeah link reposted, so we will have a race here as suggested by FWD on another thread..?

8:00pm start as usual, but we probably won't get into it until 8:30

Try and be there as early as poss!

And any track suggestions? Or Mugello since we are there tomorrow with massers?

Dave.

Norisring, bet few of you have even seen it. Very easy to learn short circuit used for WSC since the last sixties (unfortunately where the great Pedro Rodrigues died in his 917). Now used for DTM.

Link somewhere on RSC for the track.

I'm on

BTW, does anyone else have a problem with the AI cars being invisible (except the wheels) until you're too close to do anything about it? I'll try turning the detail up!

This sounds ace, downloading it now

Edit to say this is where fast broadband is handy, 195k/s on the track download and 355k/s for the cars, at the same time

In case anyone else had this, turning up the detail on opponent cars fixes it (d'oh! Next time think before posting )

Good giggle that was! Shame about the race lengths though...

Another one Wednesday would be good (trying to keep the '70s discussion separate from the Vote for Race Night...)

Track suggestions? I'd love to run at Le Mans, but with only a relatively small number of cars people will get too spaced out, so shorter tracks may be better. How about Brands? They had a 1000kms there in '70...
