GTA - Liberty City Stories.

Don't think you can downgrade the firmware, I thought that once it's done it's done. As for the game, it's good fun, controls are a bit tricky coming from San Andreas on the PS2 and it makes my eyes hurt as there's loads of ghosting when you move around or are driving making everything very blurry.

Some clever bods did come up with a working downgrader that exploits vulnerabilities in version 2.00 of the firmware to load itself and do the downgrading. Sony swiftly released v2.01, which patched these vulnerabilities making downgrading impossible. However, be very wary of downloading the downgrader as there are some hacked malware versions floating about that will turn your PSP into a very expensive paperweight! If you do want to downgrade get it from a known, trused source - ie, a mate who has already used it sucessfully.
just got it today... had a quick blast on the multiplayer in my lunch break... it's quite clunky, but still great fun.. and the all-new experience of running-over/rocket-launchering/chainsawing/drive-by-uzi'ing your mates in the GTA world is very cool..
What it's not however, is a 10/10 game, as the UK exclusive review would have you believe (PLAY mag, also out today).. quite a bit of framing.. and popping, and some really bad design in some places (follow missions, to be precise) see to that...
still great fun though, and if you're a fan of the series, you'll love it.
