just picked up a copy. loking forward to playing it tonight. Anyone else getting it?

Got my copy through on saturday, completed it yesterday afternoon, not as scary as I thought it was gonna be, few jumpy moments and a quite chilling ending. Gunfights are awesome though.

Been playing Battlefield 2 and Counter Strike and Day of Defeat a lot lately so looking forward to something with more of a story line to it!!

Anyone had any problems with the game freezing?

I have only just started playing. not even met the team at the start and when I play it freezes up

Make sure you have the latest DX9 and graphics card drivers.


I got the game yesterday and am up to chapter 6 or so.

Gun battles are awesome, although the game levels could do with a bit more variety.

I checked the Nvidia website last week for updates but their was non. DX9? sorry but where/what is that and how do I get it

checked and its on. it freezes when I get to the room with the light coming through the windows. right at the start.
getting pissed as I cannot stop it frezzing
any other ideas why it may be happening?

My copy just arrived, but I shall be unable to play it until my new PC is ready (another couple of weekends work on it left yet).

However, I noticed that an update is already available which patches to v1.01 I think. I don't know if there is a fix in there for this particular issue, but it may well be worth trying.

Do you need a mega ninja pc to make it run effectively?

I must say apart from BF2 it looks truly amazing. the recommended GC is a 6600 or 256mb radeon. 1gig ram etc.. so it is a powerful monster

Time to upgrade my graphics card I think.

Anyone know if you can just take out the old one and replace it with a new one? Is it possible or do you have to do something to the motherboard first?
