Home brew hear I come. There is now a working down grader that will flash your PSP back to ver 1.5 witch will hence alwo you to run the large variety of applications for the PSP

Does the PSP retain the web browser of 2.0 when downgraded or is it literally a return to ver 1.5?

Follow this link. I was messing about for ages trying to get things to work untill I discovered this.

It creates a self extracting zip of all the emulators you want then installs them all to your PSP

All you have to do then is download the ROMS

No the downgrade loses all the v2.0 features. As far as i know you can upgrade again abut it will still run as 1.50, but with the browser and stuff..

Incidentally, i tried my browser, and although i could play online, the browser wouldn't work - kept kicking up some crap about no DNS available - even though the psp is set for DHCP !!?

Cheers for the link Jimmy - will try that this weekend

In that case the next challenge is to create a 'best of both worlds' up/downgrade, surely someone out there is up to the task..........
