Anyone heard of this?

Stumbled across it on YT...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hF9qS0YokaU

Potentially the sort of thing I'd be keen on, but I'm not really in the loop with games these days, I'm assuming trailers etc always look good but then the actual game might turn out to be utter ste?

I watched a review yesterday. Sounds a bit more detective-y than say a Fallout game. Almost no markers, very limited ammo, multiple paths to achieve an outcome but our outcomes can be different based on what clues were found etc etc. Main NPCs can be killed (in fact apparently everyone can be killed but there are still sufficient clues that will allow you to reach an outcome)

I think that sounds quite interesting especially as I'm someone who tends to wander off the beaten path versus following objectives so it could be quite interesting indeed.

I'll definitely give it a go that's for sure

Getting closer. I’m Cumbrian, work in the industry, and like fallout type games. I can’t possibly not get it even though I haven’t gamed in ages.

Looks like it will be a 'day one' release on Microsoft GamePass too.

Played it for about an hour yesterday evening, What little i saw looks really good, and my lack of familiarity with the controls aside, I can see a lot of time being put into this.

Curious hearig north England accents in a video game though.

The annoying thing is they are Yorkshire accents, not Cumbrian. But for various reasons it’s a must buy for me.

some good deals on CDKeys for Atomfall, 33% and 36% on the delux

dipped my toes into it, this game is not fallout, its very much a FarCry, which is fine as i love FarCry, although i love Fallout more wink

over the next couple of weeks i shall wander about aimlessly stealth murdering everyone i can

If the main guys are from yorkshire then at least buying items won't be a priority (tight as a ducks arse)

Cohh Carnage just completed it in 18 hours, doing just about everything with 2 out of the 6 endings.

Everything apart from taking time to just bimble around. I've done very little yet apart from scuffing about, exploring.

Enjoying it a lot so far.

My sound glitched with a big crackle and even after a restart other Xbox sound was OK but silence from the game. I had to kill the resumed session and restart the game to get sound back.

Hmm, I wasn't sure about this, but as I like Bethesda games, I'm glad to see they're offering that warm blanket of familiarity.
