PS5 - "Lan Cable Disconnected"
Discussion
Does anyone else get this?
Know how to fix it?
Its been happening a while on mine [have just changed router and cable, but it was doing it before that too].
I've followed some instructions I found to start the console in safe mode, update system software and rebuild database. But this has seemingly not worked.

I've been getting this issue for sometime now. I changed the LAN cable and put the PS5 flat rather than vertical as this helps with heat issues. All was good for about a month but the problem has returned. The unit doesn't get so hot now though.
Would like to know a fix if you find one.

This may be worth checking if the repair options haven't already been tried:

Can't add anything useful, but not only has mine done this, it appears to cause my Sky modem/router to throw a wobbly and completely reset.
It seemed to happen during high data transfer, such as downloading a new game. Not noticed it happen during normal play
Did you check the temp of the modem/router - my Virgin box used to overheat and go flakey until I chucked it in modem mode and plugged in a proper router. It seemed to happen during high data transfer, such as downloading a new game. Not noticed it happen during normal play
