I've had the PS1 to 3 and then decided not to buy the PS4 or 5.
But just ordered the PS5 Pro.

So been off the playstation thing for about 10 years.

Really want GT7 a must for me.
Gods of War and Last of us.

Any recommendations.
I like GTA5, and games with good stories. is Spiderman any good
Has the online changed much. When I last played, there was no pay to play online. etc..
I'm not a massive fan of PVP but have enjoyed Large scale battlefield games over the years.

Also I have used company like CDkeys for games. Any recommendations other than the PS store. Any good deals etc

Cheers in Advance

If you need PS Store credit, get it from places like CDKeys and Shop.to for less.

As for games, Ghost of Tsushima was good. Since you've been away a while it maybe worth you buying the full fat sub and going through what games are free. There's so much to go through and things like God of War, etc come up for free within the PS Plus sub.

That's a very good suggestion actually, you can also buy the membership with discounted PS Store credit from various websites.

I would also suggest Horizon, RE4 and the Final Fantasy 7 remakes. Also Astro Bot is meant to be awesome but I haven't played that yet, Astro's playroom was really fun though!

I’m in a similar situation but I’ve bought it for my 10 year old twin boys Christmas as a family present. Sold my PS3 when they were tiny as I never had time or the interest to touch it. Can I share a
Plus account? Any more advice etc?

OK just looking PSPlus. Premium, extra and essential. Not interested in cloud gaming or share. Any big benefits when starting out over the 3 choice?

Very very good. I think the story in the first is the best, but all are good. Plus it is just fun to play on the streets of New York.

It is very repetitive though. I know everyone seems to rave about it.

Days Gone and the Uncharted series are worth a shout. Plus a Far Cry game or two.

If you're highly interested in GTA5 and like games with a story then get RDR2. There are plenty of PS4 games worth playing as well as ones that have been remasted. all of which might be part of the PSN+ package you're after (don't quote me on that). There are plenty of good games that are dirt cheap to buy the physical copies of.

Consider if you want to have the copy of the game permanently or if you want to only 'own' it while you maintain a PSN+ account.

It can be, but the story progression is good enough to disguise the repetitiveness. Or at least it is for many players.

Playstation usually discount their online gaming subscription prices on Black Friday, Even if you already have a sub I think you can still buy a year or twos worth and stack them for when any current sub expires?

Oh for sure, almost everyone loves it, and the swinging through NYC vibe is very cool.

Horizon Zero Dawn is excellent (and long). Fortnite is fun and free. Last of Us is great, Last of Us 2 worth a go if you enjoy the first one.
