Didn't expect a first person perspective game.

I'm loving it - I've been playing it since Friday having bought the upgrade to the premium edition - it's a lot of fun, and it looks amazing.

My only concern is it might be a bit on the short side game play wise...

This totally looks like my thing: story-driven, First Person, lots of exploration, lots of "flavour" to enjoy. And MachineGames have a great pedigree. Overwhelmingly positive reviews too.

Balking at the £59.99 price tag though. I think I will wait for it to come down in price a little. Fortunately PC games generally do, unlike console games.

Phew, video games have come on somewhat since I last played them on the Atari.

Yes, one of the reviews I read mentioned that there were elements of Dishonored and also the more recent Deus Ex games. Both franchises are firm favourites of mine.

It’s on Game Pass…

ETA …and it’s a cracking game.

I'd tagged this as looking terrible from the early gameplay footage, so genuinely suprised.

Just sub to Gamepass for £9.99, easily complete it in a month and probably get to play some other stuff too ! Even better, if you've never had GamePass before, there are deals for 2 week trials for £1 so it's even cheaper if you just want it for that biggrin

Just to add that stalker 2 has just been added too, well worth a month to get these two completed

Only played about 20 mins so far but it’s pretty good

15 days installation time is a bit punchy smile

hehe

I meant they justified buying it for me by saying it was a Christmas gift, but I don't have to actually wait until Christmas to install it and play it. smile

I'm really enjoying the game 4-5 hours in but can't help feeling the fighting mechanism is so archaic by todays standards.

In an era where the likes of Arkham Knight exist with fantastic fight dynamics, this feels really basic.
I'm not suggesting Indy should go full Batman when fighting but just throwing left and right jabs gets pretty boring.

Feels like the game is constantly encouraging the use of a weapon as a way of avoiding proper fights.
