I have looked chaps, but I guess I was off the day they explained how to install mods, and now I can't find the info anywhere. It's not mentioned in the readmes, or any of the FAQs I've found! Can someone point me to the idiots guide to installing this?

Find out what the download is, if it a RAR file open it up. If the top folder is called gamedata extract the folder to your GTR folder on your C drive.

If you double click on the gamedata folder you will see it has the same structure as your gamedata folder in your GTR folder. So it just adds each new bit in the correct place itself when you extract it.

*Disclaimer I haven't downloaded it yet so have no idea if it is a RAR, ZIP or self extracting exe

Either was you can create a new folder called GTR on your desktop and extract/install the mod to that to see what it does, if it works ok do the same to your proper GTR foler.

Replacement controller arrived today it's a total heap, still got a fault identical almost to the last one. I think it's GTR in this case so am now going to re-sell that and hope that the wheel that I've ordered will hurry up!

oooh you lucky buggers, i'm still at work.

Can you race the Capris and Escorts together? What are the Capris like?

My PC crashes to desktop at loading screen for the brands hatch you are running... the other (older) brands works fine... it happens offline too... not checked with other trophy tracks yet

If you like a racing car Capri to handle like a road car capri then you'll like it. If you hate terminal mid-corner understeer and spinning the rears because you can't adjust the car setup enough you'll hate it. I do.

but on the other hand... the mid-corner understeer can be eliminated by going more slowly or a bit of right foot... the spinning wheels on exit can be sorted out by accelerating gently

edit: I think they're ok... not as fun as escorts but I don't hate them
