toca race driver 2 player rating system???

how the hell does this work exactly? i came second in one race and some guy who came third got more points than me, i have looked all over the place but cant find a good explanation for how this system works, can somebody please explain it to me?

The rating scheme is very strange on TRD2 online. from what i understand, it basically works out, from your previous results, and your points what place you should come in for that race. If you get its guessed place, or better, you get points, if you dont, then you'll either get 0 or lose points.

For example, if you're racing against someone with 2000 points, and someone with 1000 points, then you with 1500 points. it will think the guy with 2000 point will win. but if he finishes 3rd, he will lose points. If the guy with 1000 points comes first, he will get a LOT of points. and you would probably come out of the race breaking even.

it works something along those lines anyway. i think there was a better break down of how it works on the codemasters forums.

that sounds cool, i still dont really understand it.

so i think it means it has nothing to do with damage?

and if everyone i was racing had a higher score than me, if i came last i wouldnt lose any points? or would i?
