ooh, maseratis, just getting this now.

I'm up for these tonight, as long as everyone gets them in time.

Defiantly tonight if everyone has them - superb handling - can even catch it when it breaks loose too (must be all the practice with the Escorts last week!)

Not badddd...
We could either stick to Monza/TVRs tonight as not everyone might get hold of Masers in time for today..

Or we can run Maserati at Monza tonight instead?!

I'm happy either way to be honest.
If we could get a decision before 8, then i'll have the server running early ready to go

Dave.

I'm happy either way, would probably prefer the maseratis, rubbish brakes, great fun for sliding around.

The great thing about this mod is that it also comes with about 6 new tracks as well. And because it has an installer you can be pretty sure you wont get the problems of people having compatability issues with the server / each other.

Just had two of the best races ever on GTR, these Maseratis are soooo much more predictable, both races had 19 people, 98% finished the race without incident.

Most were saying that this type of car is what the game is crying out for, everyone had their own races going on within the race....... drifting is fantastic and they're are soooo forgiving when having a 'moment'

Great, absulutely fab!

c u tonight guys!

The race had been agreed for 8pm today... so shall we say..

Sunday @ 8
Maserati, Brands Indy (or Brands)

Monday @ 9
TVR, Monza, which was previously agreed for today..

Any good? That's got us sorted for a couple of days then

Dave.

last nights race was excellent! me, Leading!!! there's a 1st! and being chased for 15 laps by Ian who was within 4-5secs of me was just ace then we both stuffed it at the same time I suffered a punture sry for weaving in front of you leaving black lines fwd (think it was you) I was trying to get to the pits with a car that handled like a Robin Reliant

once in the pits though they took 1min to repair the damage so I was out

excellent fun though, best in ages and not because i was quick but because the cars are much more GPL like to drive, best mod by far.

How did everyone else get on? what did you think of the cars?

Tonight.....

I was chasing you for 15 laps from lap 2 till you went off, I think after Ian spun at clearways

My first time driving the Masser's so was getting used to them, took the gap down from 6s to 3s then you went off Then I blew the engine almost immediately and immitated the Red Arrows down the start finish straight

Really enjoyed last nights race. I wish I could stay on the black stuff for more than 10 consecutive laps. Although that little problem isn't unique to the Maserati's, i get that no matter what I drive.

The maser's really do seem to be great fun to drive. Maybe we should do a mini sunday night Maserati league, working our way through each of the new tracks the mod gives you. We could do 2 20 minute sprint races per week?

Because Dave hosts the server we could even get the handicap system working as per the original league plan all those months ago?

on all comments - Masser's are excellllent.

I think it's 'supposed' to be TVRs at Monza today then Massers at the Full Brands track the time after that...

But if everyone decides they prefer the Maseratis today, that's fine

Dave.

PS. See you at 9!

I suppose I'd be ok for tomorrow

Addicted to PH and GTR now

Since there are just 30mins until I'll be starting the server, if nobody had posted for/against TVR/Maserati - I will stick with the original plan of Tivs, then we'll try the Massers tomorrow

Dave.
