Logitech G29 & PS5

Finally caved in and got my son a PS5…..and as such it’s suddenly occurred to me that I can dust of the G29 wheel and pedals and buy GT7….however, I’m mindful that the G20 only has a PS3 or PS4 switch so therefore I wonder if this will actually work with the PS5 before I buy the game? Any advise?
