Who's got a Nintendo DS?
Discussion
I know most of you have a PSP but having looked at it, I don't think it's the right thing for girly puzzle and platform playing me. :)
I've got the gameboy SP but they have stopped producing as many games now that the DS is out, and I can play my GBA games on the DS (i'm not bothered about losing the multiplayer).
As you can see, I've pretty much decided on getting it, I was wondering what your opinions of it are?
Cheers!
Katie
Oh and naturally I'll let Dave play with it too. ;)

Trust me - get a PSP with Lumines and you will be in girly puzzle heaven!!
(I have a funny feeling I'm going to lose my PSP to the girlfriend when I introduce her to it!!)
Plus, with other stuff like "Smart Bomb" etc, and bearing in mind it's just in it's infancy - it's the more sensible option. The DS is a console for the mario-squad imo, too cuddly!!

nintendogs is already out - my local game place has it (although it might be import as that's their main stuff)
but really... no matter how cuddly you are, you don't want a DS!!!
the psp only has lumines and smart bomb right now - but it's only legitimately been out in this country for 10 days!! hehe!

The PSP is the gaming ipod, for fun games the DS has it beat. The PSP is the one for the cool kids and will have most of the mainstream games.
Spot on. DS has (and no doubt will continue to have) better, more enjoyable games. PSP will have more technically impressive games to satisfy the graphics whores and has various other interesting features the DS doesn't have.
Horses for courses really. My simple solution has been to get both.

I stayed on the dark but fluffy side, and I bought a Nintendo DS yesterday. Now that the PSP is out people are trading in some DS games so I've managed to pick some up at a discount. I'll keep an eye on Game Station over Christmas incase I see more!
Been playing Warioware Touched all night. The most bizarre game I have ever played in my life, but so much fun. They do seem a little obsessed with snot though.
I'll get Dave to get the PSP, GTA should be out by the time his hands are working. Batting my eyelids and a bit of bribery may work.

Just pop down to Ms. Summers shop, get a nursey uniform and you should be able to get whatever you want!!
Of course, when his hands are working they might not be occupied with a PSP though - I'm trying to get my gf to buy one to help me through the recovery from my hernia op!
Oh btw... traitor! Give it 6 months and you'll be playing with the PSP more (if you do get one) - I mean, look at how many "killer app" games are released for the gamecube ...
Play.com has nintendogs on preorder for £25 however - my local shop has it in stock, depends on if the DS can play games from anywhere though...

I already owe him 7 hours of snogging. Every time he moves a new muscle he gets an hour of tonsil tennis. Little incentive. Mind you, he earns more than me, so he can buy his own PSP.
Amazon and Game are offering Nintendogs for £25, so is your local shop selling the US version? That IS available. My parents are in the US at the moment, but by the time they get back it'll be out here, so I'll attempt to find some patience.
And I DID say I was fluffy.
