XBOX - what are you playing right NOW?
Discussion
Might fall flat on it's face but thought this might be a good topic for a thread - what are you playing on XBOX right now, are you enjoying, would you recommend it etc. Good to get a variety of opinions and possibly heads-up on some lesser known gems or games you might not have considered.
On Series X, I'm currently playing As Dusk Falls on Gamepass. If you like Quantic Dreams style games like Heavy Rain, this is for you. Very cinematic and the story and characters have me hooked...not for those who would prefer to hit buttons more than once every couple of minutes!
Just started on the Resident Evil 2 remake - not normally my sort of game (mainly because I am crap at them) but enjoying the tension and peril. Walking around the gas station with just a torch in the prologue, while sitting in the dark at home alone, I needed a new pair of pants.
ETA - please come back and update the thread as and when you start new games (although I am a notoriously slow gamer so will personally be poor at this!).

Division 2, still.
Got it and the WONY expansion some time “during covid” and played the st out of it.
Still being updated, new expansion out sometime this year, new “season events” ongoing to carry on the storyline.
Now I was only vaguely aware of this and the Clancy name put me off but having just watched the trailer, this looks epic.Got it and the WONY expansion some time “during covid” and played the st out of it.

Shortlisted thanks!

The original had a better atmosphere, but that could be looking through rose tinted glasses, it’s been a real long time since I played that.Shortlisted thanks!
There aren’t any carry-overs from 1 to 2, so you’re not really missing much.
Still worth a play through though.
I downloaded Battlefield One as it was on Game Pass. Not bad, but I've never really got on with Battlefield games, I'm more old school COD run and gun.
Have actually got into Fortnite since they introduced No Build maps. It's a lot of fun. I do pretty well but assume the Middle East servers aren't especially well populated. Spend far too much time on Apex Legends also.
I did start Firewatch but my save got corrupted. Will give that a go as it does look interesting.

I just upgraded to a Series X; I usually only have 1 game on the go at any 1 time but I've indulged a little:
1) Generation Zero - still playing this several years on and find it the perfect way to mindlessly run around, gunning down robots and just chilling.
2) CP2077 - one of the main reasons for the Series X; downloaded it last weekend and played an hour or so but have been too busy to go back and really get into it - will probably do that this weekend.
3) Return to Monkey Island - again downloaded from GP when I upgraded and I've only played the first 30 minutes or so. I love the series so looking forward to going back to it.
4) Metro Exodus - had downloaded it a few months ago but haven't got around to even firing it up yet.
5) The Expanse Telltale game - played through it on release and really want to go back and replay it with some different choices
And I also have the latest season of Snow Runner on the go on the PS4.

Nice library! I am trying really hard to focus on one game but it is so hard when you have GP and so many games a click away...1) Generation Zero - still playing this several years on and find it the perfect way to mindlessly run around, gunning down robots and just chilling.

Keep us posted on CP2077 - it's very high on my shortlist.
Just to add when I have a very short window I have been playing SSX on GP - it's ok but not massively satisfying. Unless I am missing something it never seems to tell you at the end of a race what your total XP was, which is the whole point of all the button mashing! I also miss 1v1 which was what made the original Cool Boarders such a fun game - SSX is lacking to be honest.
Kids are playing a mix of Forza Horizon 5, Rocket League and Ori and the Blind Forest (what a game that is).
