Getting even stranger than the first, and that is a high hurdle indeed.

Really looking forward to this!

No surprise that the trailer is bonkers, as in 'WTF is going on', that's how I felt after finishing the first game.

I can't work out if the scene where the characters are grey is early development or a dream or just weird.

I was expecting Chris Rea to be singing the theme tune.

+1 ... it actually started going through my head as soon as I saw the title.

Maybe Kojima should license it, as he's so 'random and zany' these days biggrin

Got the first one free on Epic (I think) I could not get in to it at all.

After about 90 minutes had only played the game for about 10 minutes.

I only played the first one because it was free, via the epic store.
It's going to be interesting, what the reviews make of this one when it's out.

Is the first one still worth playing now? Does it have elements of cross over on others players interactions that would kill the game now? I am weirdly intrigued by this.

Death Stranding seems to be a marmite game. I love it and even though it's an 'old' game now, it still looks amazing.

For a Kojima title, it just about gets the balance right between Kojima's tendancies to go over the top with plot and characters and it being a relatable regular videogame. It was also the first one of his where I didn't get bored with the massive amount of cutscenes - the whole thing was actually interesting even if a bit far-out.

I'll definitely be getting the sequel, though maybe not at release time.

Really looking forward to this. The first game is probably my favourite of all time and love the bonkerness of it all.

I am actually playing it again right now after seeing this trailer. There is still plenty of other players online so you still get all the strand connections etc. This is especially helpful when you run out of battery power and you find a generator or a well placed bridge over a canyon.

On the beach looks like the first game but dialled up to about 1011. Also I think the title is a reference to the 1959 film.
