Just whacked my first mp3's on the psp :D

Does anyone know if you can make on the fly playlists or even make playlists at all ? Also - i cant seem to listen to a track while browsing for the next one ?

Also - does anyone know if there is a mod to make the headphone outputs louder - its a decent volume but i would like a bit more to play with ;)

Cheers

Steve

There was a sticker on mine that said somthing to the effect of 'limited to 96db' .... The lead unplugs at the remote control section so put a better pair on tehre.. I had some old Panasonic ones kicking about and hey presto .. more volume and way more comfortable

Well i'm not using my inline remote/earphones at the minute as i have some rather expensive sony plugs which i use.. I have the volume on full on the PSP which is a decent amount of volume but sometimes on certain songs i'd like just a bit more

Found a program call DJSP that looks great ! Volume boost and 10 channel EQ !

Had trouble getting it to run but as soon as i do i'll let you know if its as good as it looks !

Guessing that UK units will have a volume cap whereas Asian ones will not (the iPod was similarly afflicted).

Headphones - Sony SONY MDR-EX71 are pretty good and I thought they were the best headphones for portable use you could get.

Then tried the 81s which are the "same" but with a metal tube attached and an over ear piece. Even better.

They're about 20 quid in Japan. Bit more here, but well, well worth it.

The sonys i have are earplugs and cost about 30 sheets. THey are brilliant plugs but require plenty of juice to get the best out of them.

Currently the psp isnt as loud as i want it so i either get this DJSP working, or i'll make my own program to boost the volume.

I really need something though - watching films and listening to mp3 on the noisy train is sapping the sound...need a bit more
