Anyone up for some Aussie V8 Supercar action at Adelaide, the home of the Australian GP before Melbourne but still used for the V8's :D

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=189721&f=108&h=0

Page one link and page 2 info from the readme if you are installing it onto a PC with the Beta version installed.

I thought you had it already?

Just read the whole thread and the bugmenot bit!!
Whoops... looks like I can download after all

What time are we starting on Thurs.. could start a little earlier? And if you need me to host.. and you've got any special tracks in mind you'd better alert me beforehand

Thanks,
Dave.

Thinking about 8pm, want to do Adelaide as above but there are quite a few Aussie tracks available now, like Melbourne, Wanneroo, Oran Park, Philip Island, Queensland others too.

But Adelaide is a good one to race on, part street circuit but with a good long back straight into a tight hairpin. Overtaking a-plenty.

Thats a shame.. we'll probably see you Sunday or something..?

I don't think i'll be 'in it' much today..
Just realised I've sent the Controller back to the shop because of the problem with the analog steering, so i'm limited to keyboard for a while

If I do even attempt to race, I'll make sure I get to the back -- and i'll probably be taking it quite slowly..

Speak to you in-game soon..
Dave.

When I try to join GTR crashes to the desktop (after flashing up briefly the adelaide loading screen).

What directory do I need to put the files in?

I put them in (guessed) gtr/gamedata/locations/adelaide.

there is no directory structure in the rar file

Probably going to do Sunday as well.

Philip Island was good last time, think we'll do it again

My Falcon Thursday night had no turn in (understeer I could get rid of) and I couldn't power out of the corners without lairy slides and it couldn't change direction quickly, essential for two fast chicanes. I was about 2-3 secs of Ian's pace in his Holden it was not a beauty. Still he decided to have a good close look at the secenery on two occasions so I was only behind him 4secs at the end of the race.

If you've got Philip island link I'll install that... you might have to use my services for hosting again

Even though I can't really race now.. My faulty controller has gone back and the blok can't send another until the 16th (On Holiday)

Oh well... I think i'll get a Momo Wheel on order!
Dave.

It's another superb track by Tantra (he's an original SBDT Simbin man)

http://tantra.rscsites.org/

Check out the others he has done too. Top work.
