EA FC on PS5 account linking

Hi all

My son is 9. His PS5 account says he is 9 and on parental controls it cannot go above 9 years old.

His EA account is a teen account.

When I try to link the EA account to PS5 account it says either your EA Account or your PlayStation Network account is currently ineligible for linking.

Is this because he has a 9 year old kids PS5 account.

Can I resolve this?

It’s not that he want to play online but I think if the game connects to EA you get the current up to date teams I think which he is keen to have as he is football mad.
