I'm on 1.5 and it works fine, also comes with 1.50 upgrade, but not sure if it works as a downgrade (I've been told no on here er Colin McRea (needs 1.52)).

Fantastic game, been playing most of the night, not sure the misses appreciates it as much though

Yep, cracking little game. Not getting far at the moment as I need to learn things a little. But handling is leanient than the PC version, not necessarily arcadey, but a bit less precise than other versions. Which is a good thing as its a small screen and a small controller - so you cant expect too much.

Though looks good, drives well and is basically a convert of the TOCA RD2 version which has been out for a year or so. Worth the investment if you fancy tail-sliding Mustangs round the Road America circuit!

I'm stuck on the mustang challenge - where you have to place 2nd or higher in the final standings... The last track is a complete bloody nightmare...

It's evil!!

Me too! Only played it on the tube/train though so might have to try it while not being rocked about! Tricky for sure.

I'm stuck on the DTM one now... I can get to 1st etc, but usually by this time the engine is half falling out the chassis...

Must... excercise... some... restraint!!!

I'm on the second DTM one now... what do you find the quickest way of slowing down is?

it's meant to be braking on the straights, but I've found if you late-brake most of the pack up to a corner, then sling it round the corner on the brakes, it slows you enough to get around *just*

Just picked this up at Lunch time and had a quick 5 minutes on it before getting back to work (well not exactly work but less obvious than sitting at the desk with a PSP!!!). First impressions are that it is great. I have had the PS2 version for about 12 months but never really got into it until recently and was indecisive about getting another version for the PSP. Glad I did and it shall be keeping me entertained on the train during the Petrol shortage!!

Graphics look great on it and the controls work very well. The only down side is not being able to change view to inside the car (or am I missing something?!)

Anyone tried Colin McRae yet?

You can change the view mate - hit select in game

I bought it on sunday and like it. You do get away with some outrageous moves though which ruins it a bit, but i suppose we all know this isnt Live For Speed or anything I love the skyline dump valve sound..nicely done.

When going through career mode you get the choice to go into 1 of 2 championships, and inside that sometimes you see there are 2 makes of car in the race. Can you choose which one you can race at all ? One example was the classics championship where i was in an E-Type - i so wanted to race the 'Stang round brands but couldnt work out how !?

I got up to the GT90 on the PS2 and that took me long enough!

I shall be giving it some on the train tonight and down to Bristol tomorrow and then again on the train to London Friday (I'm Birmingham based) so I hope to get a fair way into it! If I manage to swap car's I'll let you know.
