XBox Series S Steering Wheel Ideas?

Christmas coming and the kids are both Forza addicts and have mentioned about getting a steering wheel for the console. I've had a quick look and as expected, the choice is pretty bewildering to me so looking for some recommendations if possible?

Needs to work on the XBox Series S
Budget up to £150

Another daft question, how do they normally get used? I'm happy playing on the edge of the sofa with a pad in my hand running around killing people on screen but assume a wheel and pedals need something to attach to.

Logitech G29 is probably the best budget wheel, there's always loads on Marketplace for your budget, don't bother with anything that does not have force feedback, stands are readily available from the usual places also.

Agreed on the Logitech G29, and you will need something to attach it to as well as something to stop the pedals from sliding around. This is the reason I don't tend to use mine very much sadly, but I will one day get it set up properly.... Maybe ....

I've had a Logitech in the past and didn't like it. I've got a Thrustmaster TMX now which has been great, fitted to a Playset Challenge. Whole set up would be around £300 but IMO having a wheel without a proper seat set up isn't really worth it.

I bought a Logitech G920 & pedals for my Xbox, with a Playseat Challenge to mount it to.

£200 near enough new from Facebook Marketplace for the lot.

Yeah fair enough, is it so long since I used it I can't remember which one I have . Mine is the Xbox one, so G920
