Can anyone help? I have scratched the lens in my PSVR2 by wearing glasses. How do I go about finding someone to repair/replace the damaged lens?

Thanks!

This doesn’t help for now but I am a glasses wearer and purchased these. The customer service from Eric is spot on and quick turnaround.

Pop him a email if you have any questions.

As for a repair I would contact Sony and tell them and see what they recommend. I have heard stories for the VR2 they exchanged units.

Thank you that is helpful. I’ll try contacting Sony on Monday. I think I’ll get a pair of those lenses too!

No worries at all, you can get piano lenses which just protect the VR lenses or if you really need them the prescription ones.

I found it a good experience when I had to send my PS5 back to them, very smooth and quick turnaround.

I recently fitted these rubber lens protectors after reading about the issue of scratching the lenses with glasses. Work well for me as I alternate between using glasses and contacts.

Well I spoke to somebody at Sony today. After 45 minutes on hold, I explained the situation and they immediately offered to repair free of charge as a gesture of goodwill!

They explained that if the same thing happens again, it will be a chargeable repair which is fair enough.

I wasn’t expecting that to be honest.

I’ll get hold of something to protect the lenses in the mean time.

Good news mate, thought they would have done something for you.

On a note for the protective lenses, on that website I linked for you they do Piano lenses which are for non glasses wearers and protect the lenses when playing.

Thanks. I was weighing up what to do as my prescription is very slight. I only wear glasses for distance. I am tempted to get the prescription lenses.
