There doesn't appear to be a thread for this yet.

I've just started playing it on Saturday and I've put about 4 hours into it - not done a huge amount yet, short of, completing the prologue and as usual running around and getting as many viewpoints synchronised as possible.

First thoughts:

1) it looks amazing - stunning visuals.
2) Feels like the older games when it comes to free roam, and the way the free running works.
3) Interesting storyline so far.
4) Skill tree seems really compact - not sure if that will expand as the game moves along.

In short, I'm really looking forward to spending some time playing it. Is anyone else playing?

(Playing on PS5)

I’ll watch this one for a while, then possibly pick it up cheap.

It was originally meant to be DLC for the last AC game so I gather it’s a bit shorter than the last couple. In fact it was available as a PC pre-order for £30 but even that didn’t convince me to take a punt on it just yet.

Seems good so far, plays like the newer games (Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla) but on a scale a bit more like the earlier ones so not quite as overwhelming. I've played every game in the series though so there wasn't much chance of me passing over this one. Xbox Series X here, and it definitely looks the part

It is an interesting cross between old and new - I definitely have AC2 vibes from running around the city, but now I've got into the combat side properly, that is much more like the newer games (still not a huge fan of the main sword fighting being on L1/R1).

It does definitely feel like a smaller scale game.

Have completed the story line now and I’m not super impressed if I’m honest. The play is good but the story just left me confused
