Wondered if anyone else was playing this? Played the first episode last night and was very impressed. Drummer is my favourite character from the show and having Cara Gee voice and mo-cap for her really makes the game feel like part of the Expanse universe. Also, the second half of ep1 where you get to float around in space checking out that destroyed ship was amazingly well done, esp when you're playing with headphones. Nice little voice cameo from another character of the show too.

Looking forward to the rest of the episodes.

I read the first book, leviathan awakes but haven't yet watched more than the first episode of the tv series a long while back.

Would you recommend watching the tv series as well?

cheers

Yep, also played the first episode last week, and I thought it was really well made and lots of nice touches, and Drummer was one of my favourite characters from the series too so that helped.

It's more of a chillout and meander through the Expanse universe than much of a game so far though, mostly felt like a choose your own adventure with a bit of (nicely executed) zero G flying and exploring in. I'm interested to see if the later episodes are any more dynamic. It was interesting to see how your choices compared to everyone else at the end of the episode.

Yep, TV series is possibly the best SciFi series I've watched.

Indeed, excellent. Best is still reserved for BSG :-)

Played episodes 2 & 3 last night; all good but I think I made a duff decision at the end of 3 but lets see how it plays out. Episodes are quite short but I'm still very impressed with what they've done, and I think I've worked out exactly what it is the story is focussed around and from that you can work out 'when' exactly this is taking place in relation to the show.

BSG all the way - amazing, kinda weird religious dip in the middle, rising back to awesome for the end.

I'll have a watch of the expanse. cheers

You will love it. Odd start, then just gets better and better. I've watched all of BSG twice so far :-) When it was originally aired I was backpacking in Thailand and I downloaded the latest episode each week and my and my ex wife watched it on my laptop with ear buds, lying in a hammock , smoking a... . We ended up in Cairo and I got a chance to download 5 or 6 episodes at once (on WEP WiFi I'd learned to crack)- talk about excited.

Good story - it was back in 2001 when i was on a similar journey. Didn't have a laptop available on our travels at that time. Ex fiance for me. I did watch the first episode way back before I had read the Leviathan Awakes book and i remember not being sure I really wanted to watch it. I'll give it a go. I downloaded the whole lot this afternoon. I've been meaning to re-watch BSG as well. Cheers
