Sub £100 I have never had one before and as I just ordered myself a new PC I thought I would give it a try and see whos ass I will kick ON GTR. I think not

any suggestions. I would love a wheel (of course) proper gears and maybe a clutch pedal if their is any need for one.

Also I need one that will not brake easily as i hope to give her a good hammering

cheers

I think your best bet for under £100 is a Logitech.

I use a Driving Force Pro, was designed for GT4 and 900 degree rotation on PS2 but works just aswell on PC

Others would probably recommend the MOMO racing also by Logitech

If you really want a clutch and manual gears I think you'd probably have to pay more, the best place to read up would be http://forum.rscnet.org/

Might be a little out of your budget, but sometimes you just have to spoil yourself...

I have the Logitech Momo Racing and it's very good (a lot of people on here have them). It's the 3rd one down : www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Steering_Wheels.html and is very good.

I managed to break the bottom clamp, but it has a second set which is actually better anyway. You'll probably need to get the 3rd party fix for the pedals as well but everything is nice and chunky and has lasted ages with me using it (rallying & GTR). Definetly recommended.

edit:: finding a wheel that has clutch & full gearbox is going to be rare, finding a game which supports your gearstick is going to rarer (how many gears will your steering wheel have compared to game). Clutches etc are the stable of more expensive wheels.

Bought the MOMO last week.
So good, ive tried loads and this is by far the best.
Go to www.scan.co.uk for the cheapest price I could find. Beware though if you go there, it seems they have a very bad after sales service. £56.24 plus vat it was and what with getting GTR from game for £15 made that day a gooden
