Sequel to Asobo Studio's beautiful A Plague Tale: Innocence. More great storyline, beautiful scenery and stealth.

Playing very well too despite the high requirements - https://store.steampowered.com/app/1182900/A_Plagu...

The first game started off quite well before turning into a stultifying trudge to the credits. That demonic bishop antagonist was laughable too. Ultimately I just didn't find the slow, laborious and turgid gameplay coupled with a naff story to be enough of a reason to come back.

It is very good, runs nice too, if you have the BHP.

^ This one is HDR, can't screenshot as tonemapping doesn't work as exports are jpeg only

The enemies in this game seem relentless, not the usual stealth gameplay style of following the same patterns, but search the entire level once you're spotted. Spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get into the tower with 2 invincible enemies constantly hunting me, only made it it by change when I just bum rushed the door.

Well that's more realistic than killing one guard and the other walking up to the body and saying "must have been the wind" and walking on.

I'm not sure they're that smart, had one get devoured by rats, his comrade walk up to the bloodied skeleton, tell him to wake up, then run away shouting he thinks he's dead

Well summed up, I felt much the same with the first one, I'm 4 chapters into this one and there's been a decent amount of variety so far, but the Angst level from the lead is off the charts.

What settings do you have for HDR? Always look washed out for me - enabled in Windows then in game, but still looks poor.

Just about to download this on PS5, is it worth £49.00.

Is it a good game?

It's pretty good yeah, not sure I'd pay £49 for it, probably leave it a while myself, I'm playing on game pass so it's essentially free.

Probably not worth £49.00 in my view.

I'm playing it on Game Pass and if I'd paid stand alone I'd be disappointed.

Great visually, good story but basically, it's the same puzzle over and over and over again. Pretty straightforward for most parts but ridculously tricky in others and a bit frutrating to have characters which can pull off the stunts they do but can't walk past a bush or climb a small rock.

Have literally just completed this game, absolutely fantastic game and plot and well worth a play if you have the time!
