very good, but amazingly short! After that unsettling bit, I came out to the spot where it unexpectedly ended and thought "Oh dear, I am going to die."

I will be buying the game.

I have just gotten this demo. One word - WOW!!

Brilliantly produced - a truly cinematic experience.

It is also the ONLY game I have that stresses my setup (7800GTX SLI ). At 1280x1024 with 8x AA and everything else maxed, I only get about 40-50fps.

I get nearly 100fps on HL2!

One hopes the performance improves with the full release.

have you tried getting up close to the enemies and blasting them with the shotgun.?..aim at the head. and watch it fly.

I played it at 1920x1200 with 2xAA and 8xAF. I didn't test the fps, but it was playable. (also 7800GTX SLi).
