well i have upgraded! I like it! I have started using the built in browser to read ph!

I've done a little digging and it does the following:

• Revisions to strengthen security were added.

• An Internet browser was added.

• Go To was added as a feature under [Video].
  (This applies to UMD Video)

• A-B Repeat was added as a feature under [Video].(This applies to UMD Video and video data saved on Memory Stick.)

• 4:3 Screen Mode was added as a feature under [Video].(This applies to video data saved on Memory Stick.)

• Audio Options was added as a feature under [Video].(This applies to video data saved on Memory Stick.)

• AVC was added as a codec that can be played under [Video].(This applies to video data saved on Memory Stick.)

• Support for Memory Stick PRO Duo was added to [Music].

• MP4 (AAC) and WAV (LPCM) were added as formats that can be played under [Music].(This applies to music data saved on Memory Stick.)

• Image transfer was added as a feature under [Photo].

• Wallpaper was added as a feature under [Photo].

There are other features but these are the main ones. The update is only released in Japan so far but can be downloaded from

I have downloaded the upgrade. put it into a update folder in my games section but I keep getting

Not sure - Have a look at psp-forums.com and some of the other sites as I'm sure that they have had people with similar problems. Perhaps the copy that you downloaded is corrupt and you should get another one from a different site? It is only supposed to be for Japanese PSP's (Model PSP1000??) and not recommended for US version PSP's - perhaps this is a reason?

I downloaded it fine and it loaded onto the PSP without a hitch.

BUT.... I now cannot play any movies that are saved to the memory stick.... Anyone have any idea's on this as I can't seem to find a solution anywhere.

I wish I'd stuck to 1.50 - but you cannot downgrade once 2.0 is upgraded....

Amazing. i have downloaded the software and it works great. Surfing the web on a PSP. not easy but fun

Only prob is when I try and enter my details to logon here and other forums it keeps saying no one registered with that name or password?

Any idea. I know my detials like the back of my hand but they don't want to accept my logon details.

I got the same when trying to logon ont he Tiger forum
