It is being released later on this year.
Even now I still think Civ 2 is the greatest strategy game ever made.
But they lost their way with Civ3-corruption levels were way too high and there were a number of other issues that made it no fun at all.
they are tackling some of the issues in Civ 4-Rioting/rebellion is less of a problem, corruption has gone and pollution has been reduced.
In addition it is a 3D environment you can 'Zoom' into.
However it is sticking to the old method of resolving combat. In the age of the Total war series, does this make it obsolete before they have even released it?.
