I'll try and be there, got to change the clutch master cylinder on the gf's car first though so if that takes ages I might miss it.

I think I've gotten to the bottom of my PC freezing problems so I might be able to join for the first time in months.

What addons do I need to install these days? I've got the 1.4.0 patch... anything else?

Just got a steering wheel and the game! Can I join in? What do I need to do to setup the game, do I need any patches etc etc?

All you need is GTR and the 1.4 patch which should be available from the simbin site... infact its here .

Then you need to register the number on the card inside the game case and get yourself a username + password (all done inside the game). Then you log on to the internet lobby thingy...

start game
click simulation
click online
click internet
click on the chatroom "pistonheads" (in the list on the right hand side on the bottom of the screen next to the chat window... password is PHLeague).

we should all be there around 9pm.

Try it out on a public game online first though to make sure everything works.

guess I'd better get some practice in, haven't driven Oscherleben since we did a NGT race a while back.

Love the circuit too, can't wait for Brno as well. We've not done Brno online yet (AFAIK) don't know why it's a superb circuit.

Forgive my newbieness, but would anybody happen to know why my pedals donìt respond in the game but do when I calibrate the steering wheel within Windows?
I'm using a Logitech Formula Force GP...

Not sure what's happened with the game tonight - It's gone straight from 'Practice 1' to 'Qualifying 2' session and only 5mins to go to the warm-up now??

....and now gone to 'warm-up' - No-one else in the game - any suggestions ?

Benaldo - think you'll find its on a loop, so starts up again for 9, could be wrong tho as it has its time of the month 4 times a month, c u in there.

Sorry about that, ended up in Spa for some reason. Lost it at Eau rouge and ended up doing doughnuts in the gravel trap.
For some reason the German hosts of this game didn't like that and booted me...

Hosts are very concious of people mucking about and general wreckers. We are a serious racing league too.

I know, I've no idea why I ended up at Spa though, really wasn't expecting that. If I was racing I think I would have booted me too! Been practising though, so next time I'll be able to do myself justice!
