Couple of things though - is it an "official" race in the PHLeague? If so we need to get Sammie to save the results file for us.

Have the people who had problems last time done anything to rectify them this time round? Or are we going to lose half the entrants before the race starts...

I will be there, not sure if it should be an official league round though due to the problems that have happened, and the potential problems that could happen.

Shall we just cross it off as a non league race and do it anyway for a bit of fun??

I personally am all for making it a non league race due to problems etc.

What does everyone else think??

Sammie has emailed me to say it'll be there. It's the Day version this time and he has altered the track details to give it a 60min race time (about 15laps).

Might be there, might not. Could be pushing it a bit.

Was another wash out last night on sammies server, 3 lap race again.

I'm not waisting anymore time on this game guys, untill the multiplayer problems hav been sorted by GTR i'm guna leave well alone, i shall wait for GT legends and hope they have learned from GTRs mistakes.

must be something to do with the add-on tracks or the length of le mans...

Don't give up yet PV! We just need to avoid the add on tracks and make sure we have Sammie's server running - the normal tracks work perfectly.

We've had problems everytime we've tried Le Mans as multi-player.

I think the 24hr races probably don't work very well in a MP environment as it reloads the track at each time-change.

IT IS ONLY THE LE MANS TRACK that has the problem. Maybe he didn't edit it.

Because it's a full 24hr track that uses all 4 versions for it's time limit.

we had more problems when trying donnington in the escorts, we tried at least three attempts.

I don't realy see it as giving up early, I think we have all stuck with it pretty well to be honest, is GTR doing something? probably not, untill people stop using it.... I could be wrong as I hav'nt checked their website just a hunch....

Had more fun with Badders, AJ and Rob in Vroc week or so ago, I wonder how many people would like to see a GPL league again untill GTL arrives..........

It's just that track, and the way GTR handles it. Addon tracks in general work fine. I do agree with you that GTR has some problems, especially in multiplayer. And what's worse is that SimBin seem to have concluded their work on this game and moved on to something else. A real shame imo.

Keep an eye on rFactor. This is the next generation engine for sim racing, and is gonna be fantastic. It may be released fairly soon too.
