Not console games, but original arcade games..... (I know I've bleated about it before...) but MAME is superb for retro gaming, providing you can get the rom images for the original games. They used to be widely available on the net, but because of the legal grey area, they are harder to find.

A few people on eBay will happily sell you totally illegal CDs and DVDs with thousands of ROM images on one disk to save you searching for them yourself... not that I condone breaches of copyright in any way of course....

I've got Demon Star, which is a kinda Xenon 2 style game, alternatively get MAME and you can play all the old games.

Mr Do! Was my favourite game

I have it installed on my X-box (along with approx 3,000 others) but it is very hard to play with the game pad , I need to get a proper arcade style joypad for all the emulator games.

That reminds me of the bloke on eBay who was selling DVD's of Romsets.... his actual advert said that he was selling blank DVD-RW's, but he hadn't got a machine capable of erasing the data on them before the sale!!
