GTR League race tonight - 9pm

Magny-Cours. Usual procedure join the server (can be accessed via the ingame Lobby or via Racemore) if you can't see it you may on the backup server :rolleyes: so come out and try again.

Join, wait in the Practice session for others to join. Now we have a timed 20 minute qualifying session we'll say start qualy at 9:15pm. Race 1 hour. Usual 2 compulsory pitstops for GT's and 1 for NGT's.

Password for server PHLeague.

We had 6 testing it Sunday night, lets get more tonight to really see.

Any word on turning on the weight penalty options from Greatergreen?

My copy of GTR only arrived this morning so might practice a bit before trying to join you guys...

Yeah - I've got one, seems to work OK - just need to remember to click the "reverse effects" box in GTR in order for the force feedback to work correctly.

Cheers for the heads up on the reverse effects, I've armed myself with some potential fixes if I have the demo problems in the full game - now just counting down the 60 minutes till I can go home and fire it up!

Go for it MJ, I'm rubbish at fast laps but with GTR its consistency that counts, take it steady and dont try to keep up with a faster car.

MJ, I did my first race last week after only playing the game a few times and was running 3rd before my comp decided to quit!. Its great to get into and when you have been racing for about 10 mins you get into it really well.

I suggest you use an NGT car like me. I wouldn't be competetive in a GT car yet as I haven't practiced enough to get a good NGT car with a comfortable setup (I only tweak gears and roll bars etc at the mo, don't know about other stuff yet) and have fun.

Good luck to all, hopefully nobody will have the black screen bug like I did last week. Also remember to keep people off the phones!!!

everybody of all tallents are welcome and like Diver said it's cosistency that counts (a lesson i could do with learning), just be aware of the blue flag that comes up on your screen

I quit... sorry guys. I had a relaly good first lap and was running 3rd... then into T2 on lap 2 I braked a bit too late and slithered off, lost my splitter and then it took me so long to get out of the gravel trap that by the time I'd crawled back round lap 2 had taken me about 6 minutes... I was so many laps down I wanted to quit but I carried on until my friend phoned when I decided I'd rather talk to her than drive round in last place for an hour... weak I know but there you go... Hopefully I won;t do such a stupid mistake next week.

Sorry to the ferrari I pushed wide in T1 at the start... I tried to give you some room but failed miserably sorry.

race was looking good though when i left.

Thats the first time for a long time i've finished a race with more than 2 people left in the game at the end.

Bad luck mate

Turned into a really good clean race. I think 8 finished with no major incidents

Makes a change from the public servers.
