I hope Randy Pitchford has as little to do with this as possible.
Why?I really liked BL2.
If its because of all of the "accusations" at the moment, they sound way to far fetched to be true.
ArsTechnica website said:
Callender's suit alleges that Pitchford "breached his fiduciary duties by exploiting Gearbox employees and property to fund Pitchford’s private cravings," and one portion of the suit makes two sensational accusations about Pitchford's behavior: that he accidentally left a selection of "underage" pornography on a USB stick at a restaurant, and that he used his company's money to host parties where "adult men have reportedly exposed themselves to minors, to the amusement of Pitchford."
Looks like more of the same, slightly disappointing after such a long wait that they didn't move the game on much but will still buy it at some point as I really like Borderlands and have all the previous games... still need to play through the Pre-sequel on my Shield though.
Gearbox are a decent company wrt how they treat their customers - they just announced that all the Borderlands 2 DLC is going to be added to Borderlands 2 VR for free - spot on! And they also just added support for the Aim (gun) controller on PSVR too.
BL2 looks amazing in VR but I was waiting for the Aim support before playing it as the Dual Move control was pretty finicky and the Dualshock just didn't feel right for VR. Now with the DLC coming I'll get back into it (already played through it in my PS3 days).

I've played through the pre-sequel a couple of times, seeing this announcement wants me to go back to BL2 but a remastered version is released in a couple of days so have to be patient and wait for that before reinstalling!
Borderlands a game I didn't think I'd like when I first started playing, but it's one of the few shooters that I go back to again and again, mainly due to the sheer simplicity of it and that it doesn't take itself too seriously.
Also, what other game lets you go through this much ammo so quickly...

BL2 isn't getting a remaster. If you already own it on anything that can play it on UHD then it's getting a patch to bring it up to scratch.Borderlands a game I didn't think I'd like when I first started playing, but it's one of the few shooters that I go back to again and again, mainly due to the sheer simplicity of it and that it doesn't take itself too seriously.

I wonder will they update the interface to be in line with BL2? I loved it the first time around but going back to it after playing BL2, it felt a bit clunky.BL1 is being remastered with some added features, released on Thursday.
Also, a big issue with the BL1 DLC was the lack of fast travel points. IIRC each DLC only had one point to jump in to so if you were playing something with a large area like General Knoxx you had to do a lot of traveling around 'manually' to retrace your steps.
Turning into a bit of a Bethesda style bk dropping exercise though with bad publicity centred around CEO Randy Pitchford.
