This is a Beta, a full version will be out soon so there are some things missing from this such as a working Motec display (use the HUD version in cockpit (what you normally get with bonnet cam) instead - change this line to say "1" if you haven't already, Allow HUD in cockpit="0" then you can use it.

Plus the lights aren't working yet.

For me I can't run a Ford it CTD's but I can race as a Holden against the other Fords and Holdens. But not everyone has got this Ford (funnily the person who worked on this now has it, so it number one on the fix list )

Still be running a race tonight, join if you can, test it first to see if you can drive a Ford or Holden.

Yes but is a conversion of a poor F1 version. A better one is on the way.

It's been updated, follow the link in the first thread.

Lights now work, Motec works (needs the steering wheel on though - Full interior graphics option I think)

Instructions:

DO THIS ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE BETA INSTALLED. THIS STEP CAN BE DONE EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER INSTALLATION.

1. If you downloaded the Beta version of this conversion and have it installed then its best you do the following before proceeding any further. Browse to your GTR install folder and delete the following files/folders:

($ = the drive letter you have GTR installed on)

a. $:GTR-GameData-Teams-V8_OBJ.GTR
b. $:GTR-GameData-Teams-V8_TEX.GTR
c. $:GTR-GameData-Teams-V805-Ford (delete the whole Ford Folder) ... now replaced with V8BA Folder
d. $:GTR-GameData-Teams-V805-Holden (delete the whole Holden Folder)... now replaced with V8VY Folder

Then point the installer to your GTR folder and press install

registered at that forum etc, and whenever I try and download that file I get :

that site said:

They don't have a lot of bandwidth, maybe it's down for a little while.

The first version can still be obtained from M4Driving, just update it later with the newer one.

You can run you chosen Aussie V8 car in other classes by editing the CAR file for it, or to get all of them in with the GT's or NGT's edit all of them.

In the car file is this line -
classes="V805, Barcelona, Magny-Cours, Enna, Brno, Donington, Spa, Anderstorp, Oschersleben, Estoril, Monza"

Just change it to, add the bit in bold -
classes="SIM_FULL, SIM_NGT, V805, Barcelona, Magny-Cours, Enna, Brno, Donington, Spa, Anderstorp, Oschersleben, Estoril, Monza"

PS The Aussie V8 AI is very good, I had a great race against a full field of the, 100% performance. agression set to real.
