YOu may or may not know that the track length limit was 25km (14.5) miles in GPL, any longer and odd things happened, AI didn't work, etc.... Well It's been cracked which means new longer tracks can be made like the Targa Florio, the combines Nordschlieffe/Sudschlieffe track and of course the full 37mile Isle of Man track which is described here - http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=206679

With the 1969 aero mod nearing completion, the 1955 Grand Prix cars well on there way, F5000, 1937 Grand Prix cars, the 1967 Sportscars and the 1971 CanAm series all coming too.

1937 Grand Prix cars,

I didn't even know that these were being developed, I'll have to get back into GPL at some point

Superb!

GPL is still the best driving game ever, bar none. I'm glad all these new developments are keeping it alive.

seems a bit harsh.

So were waiting on him to produce a new game then

The other game I was looking forward to was WSC, later to be known as Racing Legends www.racing-legends.com/news.htm from the west brothers. These has been years in the making

I guess GPL is still king then

Cheers

Based on Nascar Racing 2003 so they have stopped all modding of that game that involves new physics models, probably because they can't do anything any better than the mods made or planned like the GTP's or the Aussie Supercar V8's (the V8's were cancelled because of this). They should be using a new game engine not one thats over 2 years old.
