judging by the complete lack of working links for downloading the demo or even teaser clips it doesn't fill me with excitement that the actual game will be any cop tbh. If they can't even maintain a website??!

I made the mistake of picking one of the 20M downloads, turns out it is 54M. Will see when it finishes.

just got the teaser, and while its a nicely put together clip it still doesn't really give us an idea about how it looks, some really overdone effects obscuring the view No ingame sounds either...

i downloaded the 192mb demo...

it wont recognise my pedals....but it does the steering wheel... cant really play with a mixture of the two!

first impressions are not good even with keys.....
the sound is low sample rate and unrealistc, the graphics look like they've been lifted from toca 2 - they are plain (track looks cartooney), untextured, no lighting effects and require a lot of processing just to get it displayed. The physics are arcadey and very unrealistic. This game could & should have been awesome... instead its almost the opposite extreme. I still cant get the pedals to work and there is no support email/forum on the scar website... so they wont be getting any feedback from the demo.

Back to GTR, a proper racer none of that arcade s**te.
