Whoops forgot the Nurburgring 24hrs car pack, inlcudes a 500bhp V8 M3 GTR too. (Not a new model it's based on the 6cyl one but has V8 physics). A Proper V8 M3 will be out soon.

Thanks 4WD, I started downloading, the first one reached 67% and then locked. All are now locked or invalid threads so I'll give it a couple of hours and try again. As a fan of the M3, racing the GTR should be fantastic!

The V8 M3 uses the same 3d model but has more power and different handling to simulate the bigger car and a different sound for the engine it's about 70bho more than the 6cyl M3.

I've tried it at Donington (probably not the best place to look for a performance increase) and I found it's 1.5s faster than the 6cyl car.

Another team are actually creating a proper V8 M3 (3d model) so this will be another great addition.

A Beta version is out, the track is called "The Mother" but on my PC which gets 40+fps everywhere it slows down to 20fps in most places because of the increase in graphics. It's still good though. The links start here, different ones through the thread as bandwidths are maxxed out on sites..

PS. I think you are given limited connections on the site hosting the Ring24hrs pack. SO you may only get 3 connections at a a time, wait till they finish they do the other 2.

Hi guys,

I have Castle Coombe and enjoy that, and well, 'the Mother' is the mother!

But..... I'm having a problem with the 5 car pack. I get a yellow square for a team icon then get the correct pics for the e46 M3s and the GTR but the game crashes half way though loading. Any thoughts?

It did it as V1.3 and V1.4 and on full and half track detail.

Okay, I have V1.4, I'm on track detail high (not full), I have the BM pack installed, I have the new (2nd) pack 5 NS car download, I have pictures of the DOSG BM square instead of a blank yellow box, but the game still crashes!

Any ideas anyone?

Ah, you do need to have the BMW model installed for the add-on pack to work.

Sorry 4WD, that is what I meant by 'the BM pack'; I didn't have it loaded originally though. I am just wondering about the utility of a complete uninstall and then re-installing everything in the correct order....?

Sorry 4WD, that is what I meant by 'the BM pack'. I didn't install it before the 5 NS downloads though. I'm tempted to completely uninstall and then try again.

Crashes every time, except once where I could see an M3 cockpit in the pits but the steering wheel and keys wouldn't function and I had to hard reboot.
