Even though I've not played my 64 since I got an X-Box, Pilotwings was my sole reason for buying it......so no I'm afraid!

Try Ebay?

Thats why I bought an N64 years ago. Sold it years ago too, but wanted something to hook up to a spare TV upstairs, and figured pilotwings was the way to go... so bought an N64 the other day I havnt had time to set up an ebay account and buy it yet, if anyone else has a copy to sell

I got it on ebay in the end, and will be doing likewise

Dont suppose anyone knows of any similar games, either for PS2 or PC. Just gentle unhuried flight through thermals? The hanglider was my favourite, but had 100% for everything except the highest level, iirc (its been years) thoroughly enjoyed that game

Well, you could always try Pilotwings on the Super Nintendo, it's 14 years old and looks very dated, still enormous fun though!

I picked up a N64 just so I could play PW, I shouldnt imagine the snes version is half as fun as the origonal, but then you were only joking right

I wasn't joking Pilotwings was the reason I bought my Snes!

If you have an SNES emulator, I can send you the game in an email so you can try before you buy.

Its ok mate. I had a n64 and PW, and bought another with PW so I could play it - The N64 version is obviously going to be better than the snes version, hence the decision to snap up an N64 rather than a snes Thanks for the offer though

Have to disagree about the N64 version being better. It may be far prettier but the Super Nes version is actually the better, more orginal, fun game.

Don't judge a book by its cover.

I'd disagree too.

Having owned both SNES and N64 consoles, there are games that are better on the SNES as they have a purer game play. Mario Kart springs to mind certainly.

PW on the N64 plays well, and the visuals make glider flight as enjoyable as it is.

Pilotwings on the SNES was awesome. I remember being impressed by the graphics when it first came out (don't laugh!! ) Completed it several times i was that addicted !

I too bought my SNES for pilotwings, but also Street Fighter and Mario Kart. Its still up in the loft somewhere Despite the dated graphics theres still plenty of playability left in the old beast....

Try Sky Odyssey for the PS2, quite similar and as it was an early PS2 title you should be able to pick it up very cheap.

Heres a link to some info on it.

And I thought I was a freak for loving PilotWings! No sorry, can't have my copy either. Its the only reason I ever hook the N64 up! Well, OK, there's Turok as well; there is SOME alpha male in me!

Same. After buying the N64 again, the graphics really do look dated (sounds odd saying that, Ive been playing video games for 23 years, the N64 was a major development in its time)

Set myself the task of scoring 100% in every category. Im half way there Well worth the 15-20 quid the cost of the system and game will set you back, if youre a big fan of the pilotwings type games!
