Logitech Wheel Pro not Working

I can't believe it. I've waited 6 weeks for this thing to arrive and now that it has, I can't get it to work.

Can anyone explain what the combination of left flashing led and right one permanantly on. The manual is absolute crud with about 6 sentences. I've read on forums that the wheel is supposed to "callibrate" when the game loads. What is this. Is it supposed to move and stuff because my is completely silent and does not respond in GT4 at all - not even the buttons or start. I am using the top USB and have tried it with the controller in and out as well.

Am I doing something wrong.

Power plug was slightly out. Arrrrhhhhh.
