not sure why you couldn't join alex... maybe you have window firewall on too? (sometimes it turns itself on). We'll try and get it so you can join and sort out the problem... not now though as I'm going to bed.

I tried pinging your IP and got no response.

Perhaps I could run a server (after opening appropriate ports) and see if you guys can connect to me?

You wouldn't get a response as all the ports on my ip are silent, except for the GTR ones which I have open...

It is quite a frustrating access method to join an online race. Nowhere near as easy as GPL and VROC.

My GTR sometimes refuses to accept my password, sometimes it lets me straight in. I've now created a 2nd ID to try when it is arseing me around with the first.

I found Alexs IP no problem last night. Now I just need to start practising as you guys are weeks (months) ahead of me
