Looks like a GT4 for the Xbox. Check out the top trailer in the list!! Most impressive!! Does anybody know how good it is. Whats the best game to get on my Xbox for realistic driving.

Whats the best steering wheel with pedals.? Is there a force feedback one out yet?

Thanks for input.

Played the demo version on X box demo provided by Fiat at Stilo / Punto X box launch.

I thought the gameplay was lousy, there is a slight delay in the controls compared to GT4. There is the detached feeling of playing a computer game, compared to the more immediate feeling of GT4. The best way I can describe it is the car is running in treacle. The responses are slightly sticky / slow...

I had been drooling at the thought of Forza & was prepared to buy an X-box, but not now.

It's a great looking game, but if the playability doesn't get better for launch it's a stinker...

Dunno but it can't be the same demo that was given away on the front of X-Box magazine. THAT demo was pretty damn cool. Well worth the dosh when it comes out I would say.

As for the most realistic current X-Box racer; has to be Toca Race Driver 2.

Don't know about that demo, but the one I played had a choice of about 20 cars, and I was running at Laguna Seca circuit.

It really was a lousy bit of coding, the controls are rubbish compared to GT4 (or even GT3)

Looks good though, although the lighting is not used as well as GT4, it looks like a computer game more of the time than GT4

Sorry!!

I think the add says there are over 200 cars to choose from.

Thanks for your comments. I think I have no choice but to buy a PS2 and GT4 with the force Pro logitech wheel.

Hours of fun!!

Big difference is that they have the license for Ferarri and Porsche, something that GT4 does not and all the great tracks apparently, no idea what the game play is like though

Not sure if the video download still works but there is a link to a video clip of the Nurburgring on this - www.forzacentral.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1148

Pi$$ poor driving, not sure if that's a tester who can't drive or just poor game handling/controls.

Big advantage with this will be the ease of setting up races via XBox live and the car trading that can go on as you can play through the entire career mode online, plus you have to choose a region when you start the game, Japan, America or Europe and you will get a choice of cars based on that region, you can get ones from other regions but they will be more expensive and rare, same with parts. This will lead to a lot of trade being done over Live, not sure about the poor sods without it though.

Having played the demo and not being too impressed I shall reserve judgment until the full version arrives.

I played the demo with Laguna Seca and liked, but was not overwhelmed. But apparently, the gameplay has changed since that demo. There was indeed a little delay in the controls and the handling felt a bit sluggish, but that should improve in the final version. I'm buying it for sure, release date here (Belgium) is May 13th.
