Yes you do, can get a cheap one from somewhere like maplins or PC world for about £20.

Think of it as complicated choccy block.

You need an ethernet hub/swtich and a network cable for each xbox in order to connect them all together.

Or if any of you have a broadband router with 4 ethernet ports on the back (many have this) they use that...
