Aaaarrgghh...can't complete this!

I must have retried about 20 times last night, but I'm yet to complete a full lap and actually post a time!! I've done all the others so just need to complete this then I'm on to the 'Ring in the AMG Evo II.

Any tips for completion?

Watch the computer's demonstration from the cockpit view and learn the braking zones and which gear for each corner.

Erm....yeah tried that!

I'm just an eejat I think. More wheel time required I suspect.

Just take your time over it. Make sure you post a laptime (even if a few seconds over) then just try to beat the ghost.

Agree with that.

Just get a lap time in, take your time and make sure you stay on track. You will be suprised at the time, I was!!

Then you can concentrate on getting better times

Woo hooo!!! Completed Le Sarthe last night after getting my first lap in at 6 seconds under the required bronze medal time. Interestingly it was 2nd or 3rd attempt last night after the previous nights exertions. Maybe you can play this game for "too" long and lose some of your concentration and ability.

Anyway, I now can't complete the qualifying 'Ring Lap. Boo hoooo!!

You have all the time in the world to do the ring lap. That car is fast enough. Just concentrate on keeping on the black stuff.

Congrats. May I be the first to welcome you to the "Got all the licences" club.

Your next challenge is to get them all in gold

I had an almost unfair advantage for the 'ring test. I'd already won the Merc touring car in the Legend of Silver Arrow race, and had lapped the 'ring loads of times, trying to get a good time.

I knew before I started I could make 7.10 in that car, took it easy and got 7.14 or something.

You can definitely play too much. I remember getting frustrated on licence tests in GT3, throwing toys out of pram and storming off. Only to complete it on the fist attempt a few days later...

Just Won The Bentley Speed 8 Last Night after Racing the full 24 hour race in A-spec over the last week. Playstation was a tad warm though.
Used Super Hard Tyres to get the Maximum Amount of Laps before pitting.
Fastest Lap i did was 2mins 58 seconds on Super Hard Tyres and no corners cut. probably because it was the origional circuit with no Chicanes on the Mulsanne Straight.
Three Hour Stints each time.
