Yup, that is the dilemma. Choices are either the Thrustmaster Enzo Forcefeed back or the Logitech Momo.

What do you get for the extra £20 with the Momo and what do you guys run with?

I use the logitech DFP myself. Good wheel, but a bit on the expensive side.

The momo wheel is said to be quite good, but I dont have any experience with it myself.

I've got a TM Enzo.

Pretty decent, although a little small if you have big hands. Also had a wire break on the up-shift button - but that waa a simple soldering job to fix and that was after about a year or so of use.

Good layout with plenty of additional buttons on the wheel for auxillary features (comes in handy for GTR for pit limiter, LCD mode, headlights etc)

All in all I'd recommend it, I guess it's biggest plus point is that you can maintain it unlike many 'sealed at the factory' units, so it will last.

You should have got the MX510, best gaming mouse around.

Brian, can you not get GTR in the US then?? Blimey.

Also check out the review for the new MX1000 gamers mouse here. This is the only mouse available that uses a laser diode instead of an LED and it offers a 20% improvement on the old LED optical systems. Also it uses high speed rf for wireless, so theres absolutely zero lag.

I previously had a Viper gaming mouse which was very good, but after using my mates one yesterday, the precision is just amazing, especialy in CS S.

All the 20% more accuracy hype I never pay attention too. Main reason I like the 510 over the 1000 is the way the mouse is shaped. The 1000 is just too fat and the buttons are shaped akwardly. Plus, I have a thing against wireless stuff, its great, but I hate wireless for some reason.(yes, im odd)

Never tried the viper myself, but I heard its good.

You are correct on the feel. The mx thou isn't that great, it reminds me of that orrible microsoft house of a mouse they did a while back.

I can live with the size, its the sharpness of response I can actually notice. The viper is an excellent rodent, don't get me wrong, but its got a huuuge long cable, and that adds to the 'drag factor' when your trying to move quickly. The mx uses new rf technology and it completely illiminates wireless lag. Also the nicads last about a month before they need to see a charge and even if its totaly flat, 10 mins and its charged again

I have been using my mates for a few days now and I really like it. I have big hands though so maybe thats why. You know what they say, big hands, big ....

I'll never buy another thrustmaster wheel again after the pedals never worked correctly, three springs failed, 2 buttons broke with easy usage within 5months and they wanted to charge me P&P both ways to get it repaired (i.e. £50 or so due to their insistance on using a certain courier and refusing any other parcels).

Logitech Momo Racing for me and it's the dogs doo-dars.
