Duff GTA San Andreas disc
Discussion
Anyone know my brother's chances of getting a replacement disc for this game? I brought it for him for Christmas and there's one misson that causes his PS2 to crash, thus meaning he can't continue with the game There's a few scratches on the disc and we've tried cleaning it but to no avail.
Well his PS2 is about 4 years old now, so getting on a bit. We opened it up and there was no obvious problems inside. Tried another game and that worked fine. It just seems to be certain places in San Andreas cause it to crash (flying the Lear Jet for instance).
Although, he's now managed to do that mission without it crashing, so perhaps his PS2 is on the way out

It costs £15 to get it replaced from the publisher as someone i work with had a scratched gta san andreas disc, and this what it cost him.
blimey... 15 quid!!!! my gta disk was buggered when the head crashed on my old ps2. i hunted round in the s/h bin at gamestation and they had one for 26. I went next door to game and they had it brand new for 20 quid... so only a fiver more to buy the game again..
