Red Dead Redemption 2 (NO SPOILERS)

First bit of news came from R* yesterday.

The game is set to be released Spring 2018 + some pics.

That's a shame, I was hoping, and it was always going to be a long shot, that "Q3 2017" might just mean it was out for my Wife's 10 day trip to NYC in August...

Loved the orginal, despite all the gliches, I might get it for my Xbox One.

I thought most big XBone games were "play anywhere" now - although I guess that only applies to the digital version?

I'm excited. Pity it's not going to be 6-9 months later than hoped for though.

GTA 5 is still making them huge bank, they probably could release the game this year but RDR2 will likely cannibalise the money they are making from GTA5. They have probably estimated that by Spring next year the income from GTA5 will be such that they wont be hurting the business to much by launching RDR2.

I'm looking forward to it, the first one is still one of my favourite single player games. The screen shots released with the vague release date looked great great!

Really, I was hoping that GTA V was dead by now, great game, best game I've ever played - but I don't understand why online is so popular, it's the same thing over and over with a fresh skin every few weeks. I'm still upset they scraped the Story DLC they promised.

I suspect RDR2 will be the same, hopefully a great single player game, but once it's done, it's done - another couple of years of online developments.

Yeah, there was so much potential for story DLC in GTA V, such a shame they didn't do any.

So hyped for this game. I loved the characters from Red Dead. I've heard rumors of delays and I don't mind. It'll be worth it. I'm excited to see what they'll do differently. What new features do you guys most want to see?

I used to love GTA Online but haven't really touched it for a while.
That being said the Mrs is playing through story mode and it's still good even now!

I think they need to bring out GTA 6 though..

Odd - just got back from the States where it's advertised (widely) as coming 'Fall 2017'?

It was originally supposed to be this Nov but it's been pushed back. I'd be surprised if it makes a spring launch tbh

Picked up the original for £10 for Xbox One or at least a 360 version of it, it's still a great game, it's a bit clunky and still riddled with glitches but it's a great game.

I couldn't agree more! You get the odd floating prostitute or horse sinking into the ground but overall still very enjoyable, particularly when you cross the border into Mexico
