Before I go there for a track day in June I wanted some virtual practise - does anyone know of a game with the Castle Combe circuit on?
For PC or PS2 (preferably PC, my PS2 is in a critical condition right now).
Cheers

Cheers, thats a good start anyway. GPL is getting on a bit now tho - I wonder how hard it is to get hold of?

Not sure it has Castle Combe though, you can probably download it.

If GPL does have the circuit, make sure it's the current one with the two chicanes (Esses and Bobbies) and not the old, faster one. Otherwise you might end up going straight on through the tyre walls!

Never seen the current chicane blighted circuit on a game, it's the old one on GPL, Formula One Challenge 99-02 also has it (still without the chicanes) and you can drive it in all of the different car series mods for it.

You'll just have to use the grass to simulate it

GPL does NOT come with Castle Combe (I've just loaded it up and checked), but it is available to download here , just click on teh 'c' and scroll down a bit. I can't comment on how old that circuit is though.

MX2 has TOCA Touring Cars 2 which will have Castle Combe, just it's not as much fun to play!

No one said it comes with it, but everyone who drives GPL knows about the 400 available add-ons.

They've added a new "additional" chicane at Camp corner for the supebikes, but only to be used on the bike days, a std GSXR was hitting nearly 160 on the approach to camp from Bobbies, so they added the extra corner to slow them down !!

Are these the road tyre equipped or slick shod bikes? Scary enough speeds there either way.

The std GSXR that they were testing was a road shod bike, SB's run on slicks !!
